TENNIS COACHES
COACH GARBINI
This will be Coach Garbini's third year coaching tennis and his fifth year teaching at East Valley. After finding a golden tennis racket that used to belong to Zeus, the Greek God of lightning, Coach Garbini became infused with the raw and unyielding power of tennis. Coach Garbini spends most of his court time giving each tennis ball its own name and trying to avoid that "new tennis ball" smell. Coach Garbini is the A team coach, and also teaches 8th grade Earth and Space Science at East Valley. Email: [email protected] |
COACH DUNSTAN
This will be Coach Dunstan's third year coaching tennis and third year teaching at East Valley. She is better than Coach Garbini at tennis, as well as spelling, poetry, and mending fences. Coach Dunstan once played tennis against Robin Williams and Bill Murray, with Michelle Obama as her doubles partner. She won. If she had to choose between never playing tennis ever again or never eating food again, Coach Dunstan would choose to never play tennis again... then she would eat a healthy meal and get out on the courts and play some more tennis! Coach Dunstan is the B team coach and also teaches 8th grade English Language Arts at East Valley. Email: [email protected] |
COACH GESFORD
Coach Gesford is unstoppable. On his free time Coach Gesford plays tennis on an active volcano, using a dinosaur as a tennis ball and a moving train as a tennis racket. Coach Gesford's only weaknesses are chicken tenders dipped in spicy brown mustard and students who don't run fast during warm-ups. Coach Gesford is a B team coach and teaches Math at East Valley. This will be Coach Gesford's second year coaching tennis. Email: [email protected] |
